Joshua Kolmetz, M.D. was born and raised just a short distance from Crestview, FL in the neighboring community of Baker. After graduating from The University of Florida College of Medicine and completing his residency at Shands at The University of Florida, Dr. Josh and his family moved to Crestview where he opened Main Street Medical Center. Located in the heart of Crestview, FL, his practice grew steadily over time, and in 2020, he expanded his services by opening The Vue MediSpa, an extension of his practice that is focused on the aging body and total wellness. Patients can now receive nonsurgical treatments for a range of aesthetic concerns, including chronic skin and wellness issues. Dr. Josh is a health and fitness enthusiast, a co-owner of CrossFit Crestview, and he maintains a Level 2 CrossFit trainer certificate. This provides his patients with excellent nutritional and exercise guidance for achieving total wellness.
Dr. Josh is a strong advocate for bringing "big city" services, products, and businesses to the smaller community of Crestview. He demonstrates this dedication to quality service by offering state-of-the-art office technology and treatments with convenient patient tools, such as a dedicated health app, rewards programs and online appointment booking.
After graduating high school as class valedictorian, Dr. Josh relocated to Gainesville, FL to earn his undergraduate degree with high honors. From there, he moved on to medical school at the University of Florida, completing his internal medicine residency at UF Health Shands Hospital. He specializes in adult primary care and internal medicine and has expanded his skill set to provide a selection of noninvasive cosmetic treatments to better serve the needs of the community.
Dr. Josh and his wife, Kristy, have four children, raising two girls and two boys. Kristy is also involved in managing the practice, keeping things running smoothly as office manager and director of The Vue MediSpa. The family plays an active role in building up and enriching the community, particularly in the downtown Crestview area, which they have worked to help grow.
In addition to his work as a leading provider, he is passionate about men's health and fitness. In 2018, he and Kristy became co-owners of CrossFit Crestview where numerous individuals — including some of Dr. Josh's own patients — have successfully transformed the way they think about wellness and exercise.

All of the my family’s experiences with MSMC and The Vue Medispa have been excellent! If you are looking for PCP or Aesthetics they have you covered. They are always so pleasant! It could be Stacey or Lauren making you feel at home, Dr Kolmetz taking the extra time to explain things, or Kristy keeping things running on schedule, but they have definitely mastered the, “Family and Friends” atmosphere while providing great care…
Dr Kolmetz is great! Takes the time to listen to you and has the best bedside manner! I couldn’t ask for a better primary! I for one love a doctor who spends time with you and is truly concerned about your well being and like you matter and just not a number or a patient he sees. His office staff is wonderful and very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him ! He is the best and so is his office staff !
